Vintage Emily Post -- She's Baaaack!

In my book, I suggest that women who want to get a step ahead of others in their Field should consult Emily...Post, that is. I believe that this is one of those times when newer is DEFINITELY not better. Not only are the pre-1970 versions of Emily much more entertaining than more recent editions, but they are also a snapshot of the of an America that many cultural forecasters say we are moving back toward in many ways.

Manners and social niceties are making a come-back. So if you don't already have one, grab a Vintage copy of Emily and read it one night. You don't have to do everything line by line the way it is laid out in the book, but you will be ahead of the game if you embrace the spirit of it and brush up on your etiquette now.
